What is Psychological Science, Psychotherapy and Counselling?

Imagine a space where you feel genuinely heard and understood - without judgment or pressure. Psychological Science is the study of how we think, feel, and behave. It gives us the tools to understand the mind and how it responds to life’s challenges.

Drawing on this science, psychotherapy and counselling offer different but complementary ways to support emotional wellbeing. Psychotherapy often explores deeper patterns - those underlying thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that may be shaping your current struggles.

Counselling, on the other hand, tends to focus on present-day issues and practical strategies to cope with life’s demands. Both approaches are grounded in empathy, evidence-based techniques, and a belief in your ability to heal.In our sessions together, we’ll gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges or major life transitions, this is a space for reflection, growth, and lasting change.

My own healing journey showed me how powerful therapy can be. It made me want to create that same experience for others - one built on safety, trust, and compassion.
